Fabric Medium enhances the workability of Liquitex Acrylics on fabric. It controls bleeding in transparent designs and gives a smooth, consistent paint flow. It reduces the stiffness that results when using acrylic directly from the jar. It also eliminates the need to scrub roughly textured fabrics for paint to adhere to or penetrate the fabric's surface.

This fabric medium prevents paint from dragging, skipping, and other uneven applications.

Painting on Fabric:

Begin by adding medium 1:1 with Liquitex® Soft Body Artist Colour. Test on fabric to see if you are getting good coverage without bleeding.

Colour Blending on Fabric:

Mix into acrylic colours to improve wet-on-wet blending techniques.

The medium can be added directly onto the fabric to blend colour.

Watercolour on Fabric:

Use Fabric Medium 5:1 with Liquitex Soft Body Artist Colour to control colour bleeding.
